Removing and Installing the ID Vault software

If you wish to remove the ID Vault software:

1. Go to your operating system control panels;
2. If you are using Windows XP, click on the "Add or Remove Software" control panel. Vista users need to click on "Programs and Features;"
3. In the Programs list, find the ID Vault software. Then, highlight the software and click to Uninstall or Remove;
4. When asked if you wish to "Delete the Secure Passwords File?" select "No," if you plan on reinstalling the software. This will save your stored password, log-on information, and license code. If you do not plan on reinstalling the ID Vault software, select "Yes," and the information will be deleted;
5. When the removal is nearing completion, you will be given an Uninstall Survey. Click the appropriate choice, and then click "Submit." Click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to dismiss the survey. This will also close the browser window.
6. The ID Vault software has now been removed.
7. Restart the computer to complete the process.

To Reinstall the Free Edition Software, simply return to the location from which you originally downloaded the software, and download it again.
