Lost PIN and Account Lock-Out
If you have lost or forgotten your ID Vault PIN, you will have 4 chances to enter it correctly before you are locked out of the ID Vault accounts. After the fourth, unsuccessful attempt, the secure password file is erased, and all account log-on information is deleted. It is irretrievable. You will be prompted to create a new PIN. When asked to provide an e-mail address, make sure you use your main e-mail address. This is the e-mail address which is attached to any subscription information, and is necessary should you upgrade to the premier version of the ID Vault service.
