The ID Vault Free Edition software is limited to 4 accounts - any mixture of Financial, Shopping, and Other accounts - and 1 credit card. If you try to add a 5th account, you will be prompted to either remove an existing account in order to create a replacement, or to upgrade to the Premium Edition of the ID Vault software, which is only limited by the amount of available storage space of the computer hard drive. With the Premium Edition, the quantity of accounts and credit cards which can be stored is virtually unlimited.

To remove an account:

  1. Go to the ID icon to ID Vault Control Center;
  2. Enter your PIN;
  3. Select the "Accounts" tab;
  4. Find the account you wish to remove in the list;
  5. Highlight the account by clicking on it;
  6. 1.Click "Remove Account" from the menu options.

To add an account, refer to the Help Topic, "How do I add an ID Vault account?"

To upgrade to the Premium Edition so you do not need to delete accounts in order to add more, just click on the ID icon in the system tray (the row of icons, usually at the bottom of the computer screen), click "Support," and then click to "Renew Now." Or, click to "Upgrade," when prompted, if you are trying to add an additional account over the 4 account limit.

Note - some versions of the ID Vault Free Edition, offered through partnerships, offer more than a 4 account maximum, but none offer the virtually unlimited account storage capabilities of the Premium Edition.
